I’ve worked in a few different areas of public relations in my short time in the workforce. I’ve managed news web sites, handled media relations, and now I find myself in a community manager role, mixed with emergency communications, a little media relations, and some IT and web work. And I absolutely love it.
Social media is my passion, I love how powerful of a tool it can be when used to listen, engage and build relationships with your audience. The best part to me, is being able to see how that audience is reacting, see the analytics, figure out what’s working, what’s not, and continuing to improve on what we’re doing.
